Mount St. Mary’s – Mary Chapel

Originally built in 1939, the beautiful Mary Chapel was in dire need of some updated lighting and sound systems. We were commissioned by this Client to install all new power distribution, filtered power for the new sound system, completely new lighting and a digital lighting control system. Through the largely Design/Build process, architectural details were added to conceal some of the new lighting and circuitry, necessary to traverse the solid concrete structure. The original chandeliers were entirely custom rebuilt by CORE to achieve energy savings and longer lamp life by removing the existing 500 watts of incandescent lamps and installing 220 watts of dimmable fluorescent.
